UPW amongst other water supply qualities would not exist without Reverse Osmosis (RO).

This is a membrane-based technology using pressure to generate a force greater than the affinity of salts (ions) to remain in solution with water.

Commercially this technology came in the early 1970's but really only became viable in the broader sense around the time of Enersave's incorporation.

Enersave embraced this new technology and was instrumental in developing the techniques available today.

From its early application RO is now found in seawater desalination, potable water production form brackish waters, industrial applications, recovery of wastewater, pharmaceutical and UPW production. Enersave has established track record in all these areas.

Today, computerised design and application programmes some developed in house to exceed those available in the industry are used to give Enersave the leading edge in RO design and membrane comparison.

However, the real expertise is in the people of Enersave who interpret the basic data for economical but optimum design solutions drawing on the continuous exposure of the company to every aspect of RO application since the advent of the technology. No other company in Malaysia has this continuous history of innovation and experience to guide them.

Our largest project to-date for RO system installed is for a Central Utility Facilities (CUF) plant in East Coast of Malaysia. The water treatment facility capacity is to produce 1,600m3/hr of demineralized water.
