ENERSAVE'S DI WATER SUPPLY FOR TIANJIN SODA

Enersave has successfully completed its very first Build-Own-Operate (BOO) deionized (DI) water plant to supply 500m3/hr (12,000m3/day) of DI water to Tianjin Soda, which is one of the major chemical plants with the longest history in China. The plant is situated in the middle of Tanggu District and the DI water is supplied for boiler make up use for both of its Chemical and Power plant facilities.

This is a major breakthrough in the water industry in Tianjin where abundance resource of brackish water that has previously been utilized for irrigation and other lower end purposes are now able to be utilized for higher end use like this case. Enersave's DI water plant is highly regarded by the Tanggu District government as the model plant to showcase government's efforts to build a resources-saving, environment-friendly society.

Enersave's DI Water Plant applies the advanced Total All Membrane Solution (TAMS) that consistently produce DI water with quality above 16 M-ohm to Tianjin Soda, which has very much exceeded its requirement for 10 M-ohm. TAMS is the result
of the unsurpassed know-how and experience of Enersave Group in pure water technology that combines Ultra-filtration (UF) Membrane, Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane and Electro-deionization (EDI) Membrane systems into one integrated unit. In addition to that, the compactness of TAMS solved the space constraint problem faced in the existing plant area, without incurring additional cost of ownership.

The plant has completed its commissioning stage end of May and has officially started its water supply contract with Tianjin Soda starting this June.
